This trip begins from either Entebbe or Kampala in the morning with a pickup by the driver guide. You will take Jinja road out of Kampala and the drive may take like 40 minutes to an hour depending on the traffic jam along the way. After Mukono town, you will proceed past Mbalala Industrial Area, Namawojjolo town, Namataba and then turn right from Kayanja trading center off the tarmac. Drive about 2 kilometers to reach the cascading falls. On arrival, a guide will lead you around the place starting with the roaring falls from above the rocks.
Among the things to do at Ssezibwa falls include admiring the falls themselves by taking memorable photos with them in the background plus hiking the rocks to reach the top of the falls. During the climb, expect to see traditionalists who flock the site in search of blessings. These primitive locals tend to make fire places in the rock gaps as they call upon the spirits to help them on various life problems. Naive as they believe, you will see them serious on their traditional polytheist practices as they smoke the pipe at the same time. The falls are also close to some tea plantations which you may hike through as an agricultural stride in the verdant green.
After the tour, drive back to Kampala with lunch en route at Collins Hotel Mukono or Ridar Hotel Seeta. Arrive in the city in the afternoon and the driver will drop you at your preferred place. End of the day tour to Ssezibwa Falls.
